IMT/VIS valve

Anyone know how to remove the IMT/VIS valve from the intake manifold on the SOHC. The dealer and haynes manual says to remove the four screws and pull it out of the manifold but it won't budge. It has a leak at the gasket and I need to replace it.

Thats OK, I figured it myself.

So how did you do it? I'm stuck trying to replace the gasket on mine. I got all 5 of the screws out but it just won't come off and I don't want to force it off.

So, to remove the VIS you first have to remove the IAC then the VIS will slide out easily.
