In a state of confusion, help!!!!!!

ok, i know i've left several of these, but I have a 2001 Sport, the one that look like and is the same as the 02 and 03 Sport...........My truck wont move anymore, and it sucks. I think it is the transmission, but I put the truck up in the air today, started it up and the wheels started spinning in all of the gears. my question is, can my problem not be the tranny, but be the rear differential?

Put it in 4 wheel drive and try driving it. That'll let you know if it's the rear end or not. Front should pull it around if the back is shot.
