2001 ford explorer sport
Hello everyone! I need help with my 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. It's 4 wheel drive 4.0L SOHC, 5r55e transmission . It makes a humming, whinning noise under acceleration.ive done rear wheel bearings. Im having problems with shifting such as high rpm's to shift about 3000 compared to normal 2000 to 2500. Very little hesitation. She goes well on the highway besides rpms dropping to 2000 while crusing. I have gone 80 with this problem. I had one incident recently where rpm's and speedometer froze getting on the highway but with a little extra on the accelerator she went. I think it may be the tranny but i have no real clue. No check engine light or o/d light have come on. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much.

Im sorry i posted this in the wrong thread. Im new and it was late lol. Had the explorer for 3 years now before that is was my brothers. I love it but the past year or so its been giving me a headache. 126000 mile on her .
