incorect second gear ratio advise pls

Hey guys i am getting a code incorect second gear ratio and egr valve acording to amco crooks my tranny is skipping from first to third this just started after having floored it the other day i replaced vb gasket it was blown out and i recoverd all the pieces also new fluid and filter but no change what should my next move also not sure how big of a roll this plays but i have had to cut my throttle cable short with a stud (it broke off at Pedal)
any advice would be great.

Probably the intermediate band broke is out of adjustment or servo or valve body problem.
