Injector HELP needed... 91 V6 (AKA 88 Ranger)

My bro's 88 V6 Ranger needs injectors (190k miles) and a few are leaking now.

1. What size (19#, 24#, etc) are they?
2. Will injectors from a different vehicle work (ie stock explorer or mustang)?

It is just his winter beater, so we are just worried about getting some decent injectors that will be a stock replacement.

Is that a 2.8/2.9L V6 in the 88 Ranger?

2.9L V6. Hoping to be able to get a list of vehicles that we can get injectors from (Junkyard). With a list of vehicles that will work, we should be able to find something locally.

Well, I have always thought 2.9's and 4.0's all had 19# injectors; but I could be mistaken! I never did mess with the injectors on my BroncII and it had the same motor as the 88 Ranger. If it were me I would start by looking for 88-92 Rangers, 89-90 Bronco II, then 93-? Ranger with the 4.0, and 91-94 Explorer for junkyard injectors. Oh, and early 90's Ford Aerostar vans had the 4.0 in them also.
