Inner wheel painting?

hey does anybody know of painting the inside of the wheel, I have a 95 Eddie Bauer and on the inside of the wheel is black and it's kinda fading with light surface rust. Is this paintable, has this been done?

I actually thought about doing that once upon a time.
Never did though.
On an aluminium wheel, I see no reason it wouldn't work just fine.

I've got the 3 spoke steel chrome wheels

There might be adhesion issues. Gotta make sure you scuff it up real well.

The outside is chrome but the inside isn't
