Hey folks. After wrecking my Subaru Outback in Prentice Cooper Natl. Forest, I wanted to try out a new vehicle. My searching led me to a 2001 Ford Explorer, V6, 5 Spd, 'Sport.' I was hoping that you all could help me out with common problems to look out for and possibly any experiences/adventures that would get me siked to buy this vehicle. Also, at some point I would like to install a brush guard and roof mounted driving lights preferably black (suggestions appreciated). The vehicle has around 190K miles (my budget is rather low), and it has a new clutch, water pump and timing belt, ball joints and control arms. The gentleman's daughter drove the vehicle for years, thus it was heavily maintained as he was protective of her safety. Thanks for the help.
