Install an 06' Explorer Nav on an 04?

Hi all,

I had a question regarding the stock Nav on an 06 explorer. I recently purchased an 04 Explorer as the company truck and wanted to upgrade the regular 6-cd changer w/ the included sirius module to a Nav system. I have an 06 Explorer w/ the stock Navigation (with the included Sirius module) and i was wondering if it was possible to use that navigation on the 04 Explorer. I assume it would since they seem to have the same interior setup, just not sure if it is possible or not. Can anyone help?

04 and 06 (06 were the new style they currently are) are completely 2 different interriors. The harnesses are completely different, the 06 will requires an antenna adaptor, dash mountings are different. actual sizes of the radio are different a little too.

If nav and sat radio are what you are after i would recommend putting that for sale on ebay or on here and picking up a new unit with all the necessary harnesses and kits needed to install it into an 04.

Thanks again for your help. I guess, since i can't use the nav with the 04, is it possible to use the sirius module from the 06 to the 04? My current sirius module in the 04 isn't working, so just wondering if it was possible to swap it out with the 06 one.
