I just finished installing a Ford OEM System 6 Alarm/remote entry system on my X. Everything tested great, so I put it back together.
I found this problem when I started the engine-- the alarm box starts buzzing every time I push in the clutch. I know its not supposed to do this and it sounds like a relay may be cycling really quickly.
This is not remote start, so the only connection I can think of between the clutch and the alarm is the starter-interrupt (the clutch position switch will allow current to flow through the starter wire when the clutch is pushed in, the alarm is wired in series with the starter wire per the instructions). I am not using any external relays, also per installation instructions.
I'd appreciate any ideas.
