installed new radio now air bag lite on

I installed a new double din pioneer head unit in my 2007 eddie. when changing deck out I pulled the entire center bezel and unplugged the air bag lite. Now the air bag lite is on, I know it's from unplugging the lite but how do I reset it. This happened with my nissan frontier and there was a reset without going to the dealer. thanks

did you start it with the bezel and plugs disconnected? if so that is what tripped it.

Try this it may work. disconnect the neg battery terminal take the key and turn it to the on position. let sit for 5 to 10 min. take key out re-connect the batt.

you can try a batter pull but i doubt the rcm will even notice it, you might need a scanner with airbag to clear the code, also make sure the pass air bag connector is in. (in the dash above the radio)

i dont remember if the light will prove out once the error is fixed.

If the problem is fixed you will have no light on. I would go back to what you did .The light should prove out over the radio for the passenger air bag light if it dont check your connection.

Not necessaraly once the code is stored sometimes its stored until the computer gets reset.
