Pure Automotive Performance In Millersville, MD did a great job installing my new Steeda suspension pieces this past Friday. The change in handling is amazing! On the way home after the installation I was in the left lane of a two lane off ramp when a pickup truck in the right lane decided he wanted back out on the main road. Next thing I lnow I’m in the median strip with a stopped car up ahead, the knucklehead in the pickup moved all the back to the right lane and I was able to avoid a bad day. My X handled that sudden maneuver without any violent swaying. I had complete control. What a hell of a first test for the new suspension, thanks Steeda! Even making a simple 90 degree turn from a traffic light or stop sign you feel the difference. I am disabled and turns and curves can cause me some serious discomfort when doing the speed limit or a little above. This suspension improvement not only has made a major difference in the X’s handling but also in my overall comfort while driving. This has been the best improvement I’ve made to the X! I highly recomend it.
Question: Like you, I put the sway bar in the middle hole which is the normal/stock location. To tighten it up, do you put it in the farthest back hole, the one towards the back of the car, or the one towards the front?

If it does, I am blind. I watched that video before I installed mine and again now. He points to the middle hole being the "norm" but does not allude to whether the front or the rear gets the ride tighter of looser.
From Steeda-
" At this point in time we're going to adjust our rear sway bar and set the stiffness. The farthest hole out is going to be the softest setting. While the closest one in is going to be the stiffest. We suggest you start in the middle hole and work your way from there, depending on your driving style. "
Steeda's new 2011-2019 Explorer rear anti sway bar will give you reduced body roll, adjustability, and the best handling of any sway bar on the market far exceeding the factory stabilizer bar
