What do you need pics of? I don't think I have any pics left of my TTB but I can visualize every inch since I have built and rebuilt too many of them. The worst part about the install is the rivots on the passenger axle pivot mount. I found it best to grind down the heads and then punch them through with an air chisel. The rest is pretty much replace the brackets and bolt-on.

thanks

Yeah, I have found out that grinding down the heads and punching the ends through the holes. i was just wanting some refrence pics. but its cool i pretty much have it under control. thanks again :hammer:

That's great. Don't forget to post pics when you are done.

guys i am having a prob with my swaybar relocataion kit. i used the drop brackets but the swaybar is basically hitting the steering linkage, so i am in dire need of some pics to see the adjustments. or do I scratch the relocation kit all together, re-install factory pitman arm and sway bar to oruiginal location.

How much did that set you back, if you dont mind me asking... Im thinking of buying it soon... and where did you get it ??

You will need the dropped pitman arm to keep the steering geometry correct. That's very important. I have ran into the same problem that you have. I installed the sway bar back to it's origional location and installed a set of quick disconnects from a CJ7. You only need to trim a hair off of the rubber bushing on the axle side to get them to fit. I can't remember but I think I ordered the ones for a 6" lift. They were way to long so I cut and redrilled the holes for the pins. They worked great. I think you will need the ones for a 4" lift, though you might want to install the sway bar and measure the length from eye to eye while the truck is sitting level on the ground with weight on the axle. Then give 4wheelparts a call and tell them you need that length for an '85 CJ7. You might just have to get close and redrill like I did anyway.

Hope this helps.

okay the front is all fine now that I have everything together, everything lined up perfectly. thanks for the response NOTAJP. the rear on the otherhand seems like i need to remove the rear swaybar, it is really close to the leaf springs and the new shock pad ear that holds the shock on the bottom. tomorow I will finish the breaking system and hopefully head over to Discount tire and pick up my wheels. I found a pic of a guy that installed the same sort of system, and it doesn't show his rear sway bar, can i actually run with out it or do you think that he just hasn't put it back on yet? thanks the pic i am referring to is located at: http://www.explorerforum.com/data/s...&password=0&sort=1&size=medium&cat=all&page=1

removing the rear swaybar is fine....... i took mine off for a wheeling trip, and never put it back on... i never noticed much of a difference

I haven't had a rear swaybar on any of my lifted Exploders. You won't notice any difference.

Finally done!!!!!!!! yeah as soon as i figure out how to post a pic i will.
