I've been browsing around and seems like installing aftermarket systems to a Mach system is quite complicated/impossible. I'm thinking of installing an aftermarket in-dash navigation/radio/etc but I'm not sure if it'll work.
I believe I have a factory Mach system (correct me if I'm wrong): '98 Explorer Sport, sub in back, 6 disc changer, and has the RDS feature.
My question is: if I do get an in-dash navigation system, will anything be affected in terms of performance? Will the 6 disc changer still work?
Seems like I need an adapter as well but I'm not sure which one exactly.
Also are there any recommended in-dash navigation systems for this type of Explorer?
