How hard is it to install new shocks? Is it something I can do myself, and do I need a alignment afterwards?

New shocks are pretty easy to install. I installed mine in about an hour. You do not need an alignment after changing shocks. It also helps if you drop the spare tire to change the rear ones. The upper mounts on the rear shocks are a little hard to reach with the spare tire in place.

What the best shocks to go with to improve the Ride of a 98 xlt w/tow package(if that matters). IT's kinda bouncy and rolly. I've heard that Edlebrock shocks work well and a certain Monroe.

i just bought the ones from saleen for $25 each...

Where can you get the Saleen shocks?
