- 2002 Ford Explorer XLT
I have a 2002 Explorer XLT. For a long time the the instrument cluster would reset itself (all warning lights etc go on and needle gauges go to top and then back to zero). This happens when running and in Park or stopped. Once moving again, they reset and then run normally, until next stop. Several years ago and several hundred dollars ago mechanic could not fix this, so I lived with it. Today fuel and tach frozen at 0, heat, oil, and battery frozen in mid range and MPH at 5 mph. I need help!
I have seen the post about pulling the instrument cluster and doing cold soldering, these symptoms seem to be different. Thanks
