Intake gaskets? 2 different ones?

Hey guys its been a while but im having some slight idleing issues which drive me nuts.
Im pretty much sure that its the upper intake gasket and plenum gaskets.

So i went and bought a set of these gaskets and it came with a skinny gasket that sits ontop of the fuel rail, well The one one my truck is about 1/4" thick.
i went back to Napa and they guy said thats how they are now.

I remember reading a thread about a year ago about someone having the same issue,but cant for the life of me find it.

Can anyone confirm this? Or atleast shed some light?

well figured out what it was, unplugged the MAF and it idles like a champ. Is it alright to drive without the maf plugged in?
