interior door handle lights

As you all know there not the easiest handles to find in the night for some people, so im going to be installing 3mm diffused leds somewhere in the door handle area but finding the correct angle for the light to shine at the handle is hard due to the sloping shapes of the area around it. may have to carefully create a hole at the opposite angle to keep the light shining on the handle.

Nice idea SB. Where do you get your led's from? I want to change my interior lights to Led's but the manual says they are festoons when they are not. They are twist in ones on mine, a 97 year. Any idea what the bulb designation is?

festoon is in the rear cargo area 40mm and the fronts and middle are t10s all from ebay
