Interior Light Issue

My dome and door lights will not go off i checked the door switches and the headlight switch bu they are all fine i dont know if there is a switch in the liftgate any help is greatly appreciated

There is, it is in the latch mechanism on the tailgate. I never have had one apart so i'm not sure which one it is.

im not so sure i think i may have a short cuz i touching wires under the dash and my door locks

so i can check does anyone have a diagram picture or just tell me where the sensor is located?
