The other day I got into my explorer to leave, the interior lights did not go off. I drove around and the lights are still on, I stopped to eat, cut the vehicle off, and when I came back the lights were still on. I just took out the bulbs for now but would like to find out how to fix this problem. It could not be the Lamp buttons because the rear interior light was on too. Also, my door ajar light goes off once I shut my door. Any ideas to where this problem lies?

Make sure the dimmer for your dash lights is not rotated all the way up. Otherwise there is a relay that controls the interior lights. It lives in sort of a fuse panel located below the left rear window. You can see the underside of the "fuse panel" if you look in the cubby where the jack lives. (on a 4 door, anyway... not positive about your sport.)

Cool

My question was my 13th post and your response was your 13th post.
I went out and looked at it, the dial was not pushed all the way up, but the lights seem to work now. Maybe I accidenlty pushed the dial down after removing the bulbs. Anyways it works now, thanks for answering. Can you fix my vibration problem? :D
