Door ajar light is on all the time, and interior lights stays on after locking. My alarm gives me a signal (two beeps) for not properly closed doors.
Checked all doors and liftgate but they are closed.

DDoes anybody know is there any kind of switch on doors. There is nothing visible.
Please help (cry from my battery)

is it only when the car is off you have the problem?

The door switches do suck...I sometimes have to play fire drill when driving to see which one is didn't register - a Ford mech. told me they were very tempermental...

I usually have to give my liftgate a good slam. If I just close it, it will act as if it is open.

Door ajar is always on. Interior ligths shut-off after you drive off (when driving) or after 40 minutes of delay(after engine is shut-off).

The liftgate glass switch has a tendency to be tempermental too.

Get a can of wd40 and spray inside the latches to clean
any debris which may cause the switch to stick.
on all doors and see if your problem is solved.

Did that last night. I assume it is a liftgate or glas door problem. I pulled all three sensors out and try to manualy operate sensors. And it worked, once they were pressed in interior light went off, but door ajar light stayed on (I had liftgare open). Then I sprayed sensors with WD40 and latch assembly to clean it. After mounting everything back together it went back to old state.
So I decided to get both sensors from Ford $15CDN each. I/ll try to assemble them tonight and try again.

Thanks for the replys and keep it up. I notice there is a few threads with simular simptoms.
