My 1998 xlt has been acting strange lately... The batttery gauge never is past 1/4 and I have a new battery. When I open any door the interior lights flash on and off and I heard a relay clicking under the dash so found the relay clicking and tried a different 1 and still the same thing. I now have it removed but the theft light still staying on solid until I shut the truck off and restart it. Also the other day my radio turned off when I turned the ac on for some reason. I think its a short somwhere but dont know where to start.... Any help is much appreciated! It has the 4.0 sohc

I just went out and was messing with the door locks and while locking and unlocking it, the battery light on the dash was lighting up a little bit and the door locks were causing the inside lights to turn off and then back on after locking/unlocking it a couple more times. So I think it might be a bad short somwhere. Where can I start? Anyone had any trouble like this before?
