Interior Lights Won't Go Off

I have a '95 XLT and lately I have an intermittent problem with the interior lights not wanting to go off after you start the truck. They just stay on while you drive, not a big deal during the day but at night it's another story. They will eventually go off after the truck has been parked for awhile (the auto shut off mode). Any suggestions for troubleshooting?, Relays?, Shorts?

Does you door ajar also stay on?

No, the door ajar light does not stay on which lead me to believe it is not a door switch problem. If a switch was sticking "open", leaving the lights on it would also cause the "door ajar" to remain lit.
Now you have me thinking, does the same switch control both the interior lights and the door ajar light? I guess I should check the schematics.

Make sure your dimmer control hasn't been moved to all the way to the "Lights On" position......
