Why, in a 1999 Ford Ranger, does the ABS light seems to stay on during the Autumn, Winter and Spring when the outside temp is usually under 75 degrees and tends to stay off during the summer?
At first, the light was intermittent and now less so. It now stays on. When I brought it in for repair, they could not find anything and many times the light stayed off as they tried to diagnose it. They replaced the "module" but that did not fix it. Now I totally ignore it. Recently I realized that it does not seem to come on during the summer.
Thoughts appreciated.
