hi guys, having some on and off problems with my X stalling. i think its only b/c its still cold. i always let the truck idle for 5 mins before leaving just to let the engine warm up. today was colder than normal and raining, the needle was off C but on the way down to school it stalled. no its not b/c i dont know how to drive a stick lol. when u push clutch in and let off gas the RPM's drop down to idel but then keep going down...sputters around 3-500 rpm then stalls, is it just b/c its cold? fuel filter? normal or is tehre something wrong? thanks

No, it isn't normal for your truck to stall. If you have access to a scanner, see if there are any codes stored.

When you let the truck idle for five minutes, does it idle normally? What rpm? Do you have to ride the gas to keep it running?

i have a cheap scanner i will hook up to it next time it does it, when leaving school yesterday it almost stalled but i had time to put it in N and give it some gas. usually happens when im stopping, hence foot is on brake and cant igve it gas lol and i live on a hill too. its never happened when it warm

hhoked it up to scanner and nothing came up but i got a reader error. im guessing it takes time for it to check everything....said in the book that it has not complted checking all the systems, when i started it had checked 2 and when i left walmart it said it still needed to check 2 more. i will check it untill i see if its ok, im not getting a CEL. i did get one few months ago, saying my cat. converters are shot, cleared it and nothing since
