My 2000 4.0 ohv recently developed an issue. When I'm driving, let's say just cruising steadily down the highway, and I want to pass someone, I press down the gas, and the truck starts shuddering, like it's miss firing. If I give it more gas, it will downshift, and eventually pick up speed. Seems to lack power, though. if I let off the gas, it cruises just fine. I have no error codes, and the plugs and wires have less than 1000 miles on them. I looked for a bad wire, couldn't find anything wrong. The problem is intermittent. Today, going to work, truck was fine. Coming home, the problem re-appeared. What do I look at next?
