i install home and car electronics for a living.

157, holy #*%$, that is loud.
i watched a blazer get metered at 149, and it was rattlin the whole shop, i cant imagine 157.

any pics of your system?
are you runnin the stock alternator, or somethin with more wattage?
also you should post some pics of the explorer too.

stock alternator, beefy battery/wiring. The JL Slash (/) series of amps is incredible, I can't say enough for them. As for the pictures, ill get some in a couple days. I was involved in a stupid accident in this truck a year and a half ago and did some body damage ... not to mention the random parking lot SMASH it suffered 2 weeks ago. Of course the dude just took off before I got back though.. so it's looks are... eh. I have vinyl-dyed all the "slate" colored plastics to matte black. THAT looks gooood. anyway, enough with the rant.
