Iridium plugs

hi guys, I was thinking of getting new polugs for the 02 ST, the local ford dealer has the double platinums, but I was wondering, has anyone tried the denso iridium plugs? I am mainly trying on getting better mileage and power. tanx.

Stick with the Motorcraft plugs.

Motorcraft or Autolite double-platinum. No plug by itself will make a noticeable difference in anything, except for the fact that it is replacing a worn plug.
It isn't even like double-platinums make more spark than old-school copper plugs, only difference is that they last longer.

I put in iridium plugs, since it's such a pain to change them.

did you notice any change in performance? here in the Philippines they try to link the performance of F1 cars to iridium plugs, short of saying you will get a big power boost if you use them.
