Is $155 for a 35X12.5 gOODYEAR MTR a deal?

ok... maybe what i was thinking about than was his claws were 35s but really measured 33.... i got the wrong set..oops...

I just did the Rubicon with Colin (Fenderguy) 2 weeks ago with my 35" MT/R's and I must say they did a great job going over the rocks. I was aired down to 11 lbs. plus carrying a lot of weight inside of the truck, and not once did they come off the bead. A few times they look like they would but never did. I mean they were really smash up against boulders. Some on lookers made comments after seeing a few of these really smash sidewalls on rocks and said "thats a really good test for a Goodyear MT/R". I like them much better then my old BFG. I paid $180 apiece for mine.

MT/R'S in mud

Hey guys I am a fellow Blue oval nut from over at ROUGH RANGERS
I am looking at the 35 MT/R's but don't want breakage so I am going to stick with the 33's.

Now my question for you guys that have the mt/r's is this:

How well do they do in mud? aired down or not?

SAND?

I've heard about the trial dirt aspect of them but the sand and mud though?

Let me know thanks guys

Ron

I've gotten stuck in mud with them, but not without putting up a hell of a fight. These things impress the hell out of me in 2wd on the snow. I think maybe cause they are really new and what not but they have been great. I haven't gotten a chance to air down, but at 30 lbs they still impress me in 2wd and 4wd is a whole nother story. I will say I know they are digging by how dirty my rig has been. I was in 2wd and the lugs threw an incredible about of mud on my hood and that was just going to get a christmas tree, no boggin.
