Is it overly bad for my explorer if all 4 tires coem off the ground? it is less than a foot. There is a table top thing on a road that is really long and flat and i was going a steady 80 the whole way planning on hitting it at 80(its soft the speed limit is pretty fast(KM/H) and at the last bit i walked on it and hit it at 100 and got air...is that bad for it? besides being hard on the suspension im not going to break anything will i?

Oh and the landing was really really smooth didnt even feel it that much. I didnt come down hard at all.

Its bad if you bend something or run into something, but otherwise I don't see a problem with it:D

Notice he's in Canada, that's 100 KM/H

oh lol my bad ok then enjoy

I've done 3-4 feet at 40+ mph on pavement without any problems. Wouldn't do it every day though :p

If its a smooth landing you probably aren't doing much harm. I know around here there are some potholes that can cause more damage than a nice smooth jump. Basically you feel what the vehicle feels, so smooth is good all around. ;) Get some video.

"get some video"?

Im scared for encouragement doing something dumb because I really shouldnt be doing it...but I suppose i COULD...:D

Any Canadians that pass Silvercity Coquitlam near the #1 highway?

hehe, Schoolhouse road right? Nice bump, I`ve hit it pretty fast myself, but I can`t tell how much air I`ve gotten. It seems like it is just the right angle for a smooth landing, but I`m too chicken to hit it faster!

There`s another good bump nearby on united bulevard(sp) where it turns to go under the highway (the right lane). It kicks the back end up hard though, and then you have train tracks coming up fast, so it is scary.

I get a nasty thump when my front suspension drops so suddenly. Makes me a little leary of jumpin.
