My 98 AWD Mounty has 185k on the clock. The transfer case & front diff need to be rebuilt (among a few other things). Its been a great truck and I have gotten my moneys worth. I've owned it since it was new and have decided not to spend anymore money on this truck. My question is: is it safe to drive? Can I drive it until the front diff or t-case is completely shot or is that a potentially dangerous situation? What happens when the front diff or t-case goes?
