As of recently, my X's MFT as become very lethargic, and with it has gone the lights and rearview camera. Sometimes I'll start the car, put it in reverse, pull out of the driveway and the backup camera never comes on. Or, I'll start the car at night and it takes 15 and 20 seconds before the lights (set to auto) come on.

Is MFT connected to other electronics in the car?

Did you try fuse 29?

I've had the backup camera issue, but not the lights issue.

Sounds like time for a system reset.

You can do it from the MFT menu if you don't want to disconnect the battery cable or crawl under the dash.

Interesting you mention the back up camera because I have noticed recently that the back up camera view stays on much longer after putting shift selected into Drive......probably 5-6 seconds of forward motion.

Im on v2.11 and it never did that before.

In MFT there is a feature to leave the camera on after engaging "D", not sure if that is your case, though.
