Is regearing really that hard?!?

first time might take forever to do, also maybe trial and error. Kind of like doing a math problem and given the right answer, you have to figure out how to get to that point.

*Use Ford gears only first time
*Use some sort of large bar with attaching device to the pinion yoke to hold it
*Use a strong 1/2" breaker bar with a pipe for leverage on the pinion nut
*The pinion preload with new bearings roughly feels like turning a stiff door knob,with used bearings similar to what your pinion rotating torque feels like now WITHOUT the ring gear in the case( this is after the slack is taken up).
*ALWAYS use gear marking compund as a final check (GM sells it also)
