Is there a deep pan available for the 4r55e

I have searched and read the rebuild threads, with only a mention of one not who makes one.

Even a web search doesn't come up with anything.

They are available at ridiculous prices. Around $200. You'd be better off adding a fan driven external cooler for less money.

My limit $$ wise for a bigger pan is about $125.

The deep pans require clearance from a catalytic converter, or the heat from the converter will heat it up. This would be counter productive.

i would say that if you are going to buy a 200+ dollar pan, just to spend a little extra on heat shields for the cat. prob solved....
