Ok so I went out at lunch to see if I could sea-foam my TB at lunch and I took the rubber stopper off the free line on my vacume tree and there was oil in it. I know back when pcv's went out in carb'd motors that oil would accumulate in the breather. Should I replace the pcv?

If terms are incorrect please forgive me. :)

So with Oil in my vacume system is that what could also becausing some problems or is that normal.

BTW looked into the TB with a flashlight and it is crusty black. Sprayed more deep creep into it and watched it smoke a little but I'm almost convenced the TB needs to be soaked.

It could be ATF from a leaky modulator. Pull the line at the modulator and see if there is oil (ATF) there. If there is, it needs to be replaced.

Thanks Glacier.

I am guessing that is comming directly off the tranny?

yes. It is on the passenger side near the back of the heat shield... on the SIDE of he transmission....follow the vacuum line.. you'll find it.

Thanks.

Will do.

Yep sounds like your transmission modulator. Should cost around $70 to have a shop replace it.
