Is this the EGR valve?

I think this is my EGR valve but can someone confirm this please.

I wan't to change it (if that's it) but the bolts are a ***** to get to. any advice?
 






That looks about where it should be. You can follow the metal tube looking deal up from your passenger side manifold. The EGR valve looks like a T-stat.
 






That is the EGR valve. There will be a black cylinder with an electrical pin w/ 2 wires that plug into it and 2 vacumm lines - that is the EGR solenoid. Your DPFE sensor wil be on the back of the upper intake plenum.
