Putting in a new amp to push my new door speakers, but keeping the stock head unit.

I want to get a connector that plugs into where the factory amp used to be.

Will this one work and I'll be able to plug into the RCA inputs on my new amp?

Or will I have to connect this to my line-level inputs?

I'm assuming I'm even looking at the right connector. The smaller one going into the amp with 8 pins??

The small wires are pre-amp. The thicker wires are line level. If that clears anything up.

So if I take the plug to my amp (image attached below) and hook it to this adapter:

I can then plug the RCAs into my new amp and it will work?

(I'm kinda an audio noobie and I don't want to mess anything up )
