Hi all I own a 2001 ford explorer xlt 4.0engine this problem has just started if I drive it in the mourning or night this problem dosent happen so far it only been during the day time I will be driving and all at once it's like you turn it off but it is still running then you stop and it will take a little gas but then if you push the gas on down it will just quit then you can turn it off and restart it back up and it runs just fine for about 100 or 200 hundred yards than it's the same thing all over again now knock on wood it hasent started doing it in the mourning or night yet it's hard to explain I know someone has had one to do this but so far I have just put a new fuel filter on please help
