howdy!! stumbled cross this site surfing, ive got two expoler's a 91 and a 93 xlt. one was my wife's "till i rolled it" shortly after i come home from oversea's not a happy picture. never live that down
mine after 4 year's, it's in need of a clutch, lifters, and so on.
so after much thinking im going to combine my 4x2 and her 4x4 and make a killer rock crawler. 13 years army (motor pool) it shouldnt to hard.(i hope)
will try to get pic's up soon. advice and comments alway's welcome.
even got friend still 4x4'n' iraq that are hopen it will turn out kool

That would be a good idea. Converting trucks over to a 4x4 isn't that hard, it's just alot of work. Do a search and you should find some people that have done it before. Good luck and Welcome to Explorer Forum!

4x2 to 4x4 problem

Well. found small problem with 93 xlt that im going to swap 4x4 to my 4x2,
push butten dang t-case, do i swap or convert, mod ?
The 93 is auto-divorced t-case, mines 5-speed man. thinking ranger 5-speed
with t-case off a 4.0
oh scored 1/4 inch 2" tube for that rollcage no more concusions. now inner cage or outer cage?? this is way to fun.
