Hi there,
I've only had my x a week or two, and generally i love it. It's smooth on the road and tons of tractions (but i gotta get bigger tires and a locker). Anyways, when driving very slowly or stopped, at certain points, usually a little off center, my steering sort fo vibrates a little and makes a slight griding sound? Could it be the endlinks? I think it might be, but i just bought it, and they would of had to check those for the saftey inspection - so is there something else? Other than that, the sterring is fine, the rides a little harsh, but i don't really have anything to compare it with - so i'm not sure.

OH, it's a 98 SOCH 4X4. Thanks guys!

you dont have the wheel cranked all the way to one side do you? because when you reach the end of your turning it will sound as though its grinding but its just letting you know you cant go any farhter.

Search for TSB's on your truck. There is one for this problem. It has to do with the size lines Ford used that go to the R&P.

Thanks, but um, where do i fing TSB's and what are the R&P's. The thing is, it isn't even really constant....?!.
