I have a Jet chip from my long gone 98 4.0 ranger that i recently found. Well i picked up a 98 Explorer OHV this week and I thought hmmm. I know I know we don't have to go through what chips are better, i have it and if it works I'll use it if not I'll lose it 
Jet Tech support was of no use, claimed the same chip was used for both the OHV and the SOHC motor? Couldnt explain why the Ranger and Explorer were different parts though so I'm wondering, will it work? has anyone tried it?
If I plugged it in am I risking anything other than the truck not running right?
Any advice appreciated!! Thanks
