JL or MTX ?

should i get the JL stealth box or the MTX thunderform ? is one better than the other ?

IMO the JL is way ahead of the MTX. JL puts so much research to paid the exact sub with the amount of air that is available in the box. If you look at other boxes from JL you will notice the wide array of subs that they use for each application. The MTX comes with a box ready to take any 10" they make. JL has got a very impressive competition record as well.

I'm sitting here putting all new output drivers in a JL 500/1 thinking.... i'll never endorse this company if these are so easy to blow.

but gritting my teeth..... i'd choose the JL over the MTX.

i started to read this thinking maybe it was a question on amps or subs, but i am glad to find out its not.........i have never used either sub boxes so go with what everyone else says is good

I have the thunderform nonpowder version in my X and I am please with the sound.

Oh ya the volume of box boxes is the same at .6 cu.ft.

the one that is listed for explorer/expedition probably will not work. i think there is a difference between the expedition and explorer. the pic is for a old expedition thunderform
