Hello from San Francisco Bay area. We purchased a 2012 Explorer Ecoboost a couple of months ago. Apart from the less than advertised fuel economy, the new ownership experience has been pleasant. It's surprisingly quiet on freeway driving to the point where the climate control fan is the biggest source of noise. There are a few minor niggles and areas from improvements I'll touch on at some point, but I'm looking forward to the wealth of knowledge and ownership experience from ExplorerForum members.
I did the Miscosoft Sync upgrade yesterday and it's much improved as claimed. It now connects to a Microsoft Zune portable media player - the stock version on the vehicle did not connect to a 80GB Zune.
