Is it possible to bag or juice(hydraulics) a 4 wheel drive explorer? will this mess up the CV joints like lowering it will? or could i set it to raise to a good ride height when i start it and only move when i hit the switches? is this at all possible.. thanks

not possible unless you remove all the 4wd hardware and convert it to 2wd, 2" is best you can get

Actually, a while ago there was a thread about a sport that was bagged and just about scraped the ground. It was all black, white leather int., sucide doors, stereo, working 4X4. I think it was on www.sporttrucks.com , I'll see if I can find a link. It can be done, you might just have some early wear problems with the CV joints.

ok thats a great picture, but i dont see any kind of writeup on that truck, and i definately dont see an Tcase anywhere, where did you get that it was 4wd?

There was a thread about it on here before but I can't find it. I may be wrong, but I am pretty sure that it is 4X4. Regardless, not trying to start anything. It's just that if you got the money, pretty much anything can be done. But I don't see the point in having 4wd On something like that.

see wut i was planning to fix the CV problem would be to raise it to a good level while drivin and only lower or hit switches once im at a stop. when u have bags or hydro's doe this throw the front wheels out of alignment at all?? just wondreing. thanks. and if anyone could hook me up with the email of that guy who's truk it is... that would be greatly appreciated. thanks
