i think if we wheel and my 4wd low is still actingg up im gonna cut the wires to the shift motor and just go get me a trusty vice grips till i can find a manual 1354...

If you can't find a manual 1354 by June 12th, then your not looking hard enough. We can even install it at my place before we hit the trails.

However, the vice grip technique has worked well for others in the past.

i found one in the FS section here for 225$...but idk. id like to go look at that one ryan told me about. its only 75$ he said...but how much work will it take to actually get it out of the truck lol.

The more the merrier. We've all squeezed into tighter camp sites (Liberty) than my driveway before.

I let the wife know tonight and she is good with it. Since I won't be using my camper I'll open it up to the highest bidder

We could do that. Do yourself a favor though and track down the gasket that goes inbetween the tailshaft housing of the tranny and the t-case. Don't even bother with parts stores, go to the local tranny shops. That's where I found mine.
