What do you mean by cord? An electrical wire, or a mechanical cable?

I would go to a junkyard or dealer.

Hope this helps.

Anyway more problems to adress on the the truck:

#3: I removed the power window motor from the PR side of the truck and replaced the bearings on it because they were shot. now I went back and re-installed it and now the window doesnt go up all the way(needs to be grease) but if it is up with some assistance the window will automaticaly roll back down. Wiring problem?

#4: When I bought the truck it was supposivley running VERY RICH! but I have no knowledge of what to check and go through. is there a normal routine of things to check or should I see if I can get a Diagnostic comp. to it?

P.S. to anyone who has helped me so far with everything KUDOS! I give everyone here alot of credit with working on, finding, helping.

A metal coat hanger will work for the seat cross bar....OR snag one from the junkyard.

double post.

Anyone have any ideas on the Power Windows?

Well I fixed the seat spring, well I replaced it with a spring HELP PART # 59001 - Spring Assortment from Advanced Auto or whatever your auto parts dealer is. I took that heavy duty one and put it on and it all works peachy now. as far as my Running Rich problem I reset the computer and it seems to be just fine to me.
