Just bought 98 V8. Have a couple questions

I just bought a 98 Eddie and love it but, there is a whining sound coming from the passenger side of the engine compartment. It sounds very much like a power steering pump that is low on fluid. The power steering pump is on the drivers side. Also, at crusing speed, the front end seems to make a lot more noise compared to my 93 X. Is this something i sould get used to or is there a problem. Since there are no hubs like my 93, I was thinking this is how it is.

Is it AWD? They all have the awd-whine.

Check your belt tensioner by spraying some lube into the bearing.

Yes, its AWD, but it kind of sounds like a wheel bearing??
