Well for $500 I couldn't pass it up, so gonna get it home Saturday and see if its worth fixing and driving or parts out for the Explorer and just keep it a running shell to play with in the fields then sell or scrap whats left when I'm all done.
Problems with truck so far:
Rocker panels are rotted out
Check Engine light
Overhead display doesn't work
radio display doesn't work
rear door glass button is pushed in and binding door handle linkage so neither will open
hit deer so pass fender and front bumper are tweaked.
and more to come I'm sure when I get it home
At least all the issues have been addressed on this site so easy enough to find the fixes.
One question I do have, are the front CV shafts the same for a v6 truck and a v8 truck?
I think the power leather seats will look nice in my Ex with the full center console and overhead display...
