Just finished SOA

Nice but not worth they money

I agree. They make everything easier, but I did find that the shock mount, the plate closest to the axle left very little room for the u-bolt to come between the mount and the axle tube. I actually had to whack it with a hammer in order to make enough room so I could move the u-bolt in line with the bolt hole in the stock mount. That and I am going to get them welded to the axle to keep them from shifting back and forth.

Steve, there was some guy on here that had taken his stock shock mount/u-bolt plates and turned them upside down, then cut a notch out of the one side to accomodate the leaf pack, which in turn picked the shocks up higher. And if I remember, he had an SOA done as well, so the shocks were actually higher than they are with the Superlift brackets.

Here are a few more pics of them:

You can see how little space they left between the shock mount and the u-bolt. But with a little effort from the hammer, they fit they way they should

Thanks for the pics.

I think I am just going to have some fabbed up like that (unless I can find a used set like you did) They are out of the way of the brake lines, ubolts and sway bar mounts- I want the sway bar to function.
I need to get some more clearance- I was out on the trail today and really banged the shock mounts around, so i want to get them up when I put the springs on top.

Thanks again.
