Hey all, been searchin for a while, finally found the one meant to be mine. She's a Red (silver trim) '99 2-door. every option except sunroof and leather. They had just replaced the tires today (still had stickers on tread) to a nice aggressive set of cooper's. last week the rotors and pads had been changed. truck is in mint shape.

Now what mods should I start off with on the 4.0L SOHC beast?

Then TT/Shackle+AAL lift

when the coopers wear out, get a 2-3" body lift and 32-33" tires and it'll do anything you'd ever wanna do!

Oh, and a CB radio... got one for sale ;)

I've got a '99 Sport SOHC with TT/Shackle+AAL, 2" BL, 32's, lights, cb, tow hooks, etc... I love it!

One thing I noticed mine didn't have was tow hooks, it looks like there is a tow point underneath the left rear, but that was it. How hard is it to put tow hooks on these things, oh, and where can I get a nice grill guard? I drive alot of backroads at night and am always hittin deer

I had a brush guard (Manik)... you loose so much approach angle when you have it, so i took it off and sold it. Apparantly GJarret has one that doesn't kill your approach angle on a '99 X

Yeah, I just use that tow loop in the rear, as for the front, I used tow hooks of a '89 Chevy S10.

Here are 2 thread's I started discussing it. And show's the general region where my tow hooks are. If I had a digi cam I would show ya better

Cool, thanks guys. Got to driver her home today and went out on a little trip, put about 250 miles on the clock. Got a hold of the title and the previous owner bought it in 01 with 63k on it, so they only put 12k on it in 3 years.

Welcome to the site!
