"Better late than never"

Got that part, what's the little switchy poo for?

. . . seat heaters . . . for these Corbeaus that were installed last September.

. . . but like most things, it wasn't just a simple wire up the seat heater issue. . .

It was part of the "add an auxiliary battery with isolator switch, relocate the radiator overflow tank, relocate the ARB compressor, add a separate fuse box and bus bar, clean up 20+ years of rat's nest of wires that are fairly well hidden in half a dozen wire looms, mount and wire the inverter (I've had for over a year), throw some 12V outlets to the cargo area", and oh yeah, wire up the seats. . .

Here's a progress pic:

Ah, very nice!

Warmest but in Moab.... .. ..:fire:

...Fanny warmers...:bsnicker:

..but the determination to get into all that wiring is not underestimated in my book..:salute:

..I was thinking more Kardashian..:)

..But(t) Dumb and Dumber work too..:D

I think I can come down on Sunday and help for a little while if you would like (I'm on call and we have a network migration at work on Saturday). Comes with a wiring diagram

Phil -

Thanks for the input.

Got one of these: http://www.westmarine.com/blue-sea-systems--350a-compact-battery-switches--P009_272_004_501, with the 1,2, 1+2, Off switch. Not as concerned with the additional flotsam of the other unit - - not running multiple sensitive components (Fish Finder, Radar, etc.) to protect. . .

Will let you know how it goes when I get back into it tomorrow PM, but appreciate the offer for assistance this weekend. . .

I still recommend an isolator of some type. Always charging, only discharge when switch is on.
